vanilla teens black cream

I'm hoping Blogger will let me publish this tonight... although it doesn't look promising.
The day went downhill, then up again. The afternoon was pretty bad. Catherine got overtired, which is never a good thing, and just cried and cried when I tried to get her to nap. It didn't help that I *wanted* her to nap at a certain time so that we didn't have to leave for our movie while she was asleep. I don't like "sneaking out" on her, we are trying to be sure to say goodbye and tell her we will be back when we leave. Anyway, Brian ended up slinging her because I couldn't cope.

The better part was the movie. We did see Serendipity, which was pretty good, although somewhat predictable. The first shot was a long crane shot going from the roof of Bloomingdale's to the door, and there was a very obvious reflection of the crane and camera in the windows of the building. Look for it, if you see the movie. Then we got to see some friends' names in the credits. Brian knows quite a few people who worked on this movie. Too bad he wasn't one of them Vanilla Teens Black Cream.

Again, Catherine did very well without us. I love that she is able to stay with Mom and Dad and be happy. It makes me feel like we are doing something right, like we have established enough of a secure base for her that she is able to be away from us and not freak out
